We like to make things as simple as possible, so here are some answers to questions you may have about Impact College.

  • What is the course?

    The course a Certificate IV in Ministry and Discipleship (Nationally Accredited VET Award).

  • Who is Impact College for?

    If you have been at Impact for at least 12 months and have taken these Next Steps:

    • You are planted at Impact and consistent in Church attendance
    • You are committed to the vision, culture and leadership of Impact Church
    • You are serving on a team regularly - doing the A,B,C’s

  • Why should I study this course?
    • To grow your understanding of God and His Word
    • It will forge your faith and challenge your character to be more like Christ
    • You will develop your leadership in every sphere of your life
    • To be equipped with skills to serve in the body of Christ as well as in the marketplace
    • And it will help release you to discover and fulfill your God-given purpose in life


  • Is there a minimum education required to register for this course?

    You will need to be competent in English reading, writing and speaking. This course is delivered and assessed in English. You will need a computer or laptop to complete your work on, but there is no minimum past education to begin.

  • How long does it take to complete this course?

    The commitment to study with Enjoy Church College is completing one class per term, which would see you complete the full course in two years. You can take a break between terms. The course is 8 classes in full.

  • How many hours should I dedicate to study weekly?

    Depending on your own level of study skills, we recommend you set aside between 6-10 hours study each week.

  • What subjects do we study?
    • God's Story: The Bible: Create tools facilitating the learning and communication of the Bible
    • Applying the Bible: Interpret the Bible for personal and communal edification
    • Discipleship 1: Induct disciples into the central beliefs and practices of a church
    • Discipleship 2: Disciple a church member
    • Personal Leadership: Lead personal development
    • Team Players and Teamwork: Personal Leadership: Work in a team
    • Good News to the Community: Invite people to become Christian disciples
    • Introduction to Pastoral Care: Provide foundational care in a church ministry setting


  • How much is this course?

    Thanks to Impact Church’s partnerships with Alphacrucis, students receive a 50% discount off the normal course cost. For an Impact Student, the total course costs is $3080*.


    You need to pay for each individual class as you take the class. That means 8 payments of $385* across the 2 years of studies. FEE-HELP loans are not available for this course.


    • Audit only students (access to lectures, but no assessments or certificate) $100 per Unit.
    • *these fees are based on the 2025 pricing and subject to variation


  • Are there assessments?

    Yes, each class has assessments that must be completed to pass the subject.


    If you study as an Audit Only student, there are no assessments required or qualifications received.


  • How do I make my application?

    Intakes occur in Term 1 and Term 3 each year. Applications must be submitted by early January and mid July for those intakes, with classes beginning late January and late July.


    Submit an enquiry through this website, and our team will contact you. You will be asked to provide a pastor or leader referee, agreeing that you are ready to take this step and begin the course.


    Please make sure to enquire to the course, with plenty of time for use to help you in meeting the application deadlines.


  • What else might I need to think about?

    Some of the assessments require you to be volunteering in teams, engaged with leaders in your church as mentors, or working with someone face to face, which is why being in church regularly, serving and having support around you is essential to your studies.
